In this session we will focus on the development unit, particularly cognitive and social development throughout the lifespan. Students will learn and see examples of Piaget’s theory as well as compare his ideas to Vygotsky. Through studying Harlow’s experiments will learn about social development and how these theories can be applied in child-rearing practices.
